Keswick Foundation April 17, 2009April 17, 2009gant_admin The Keswick Foundation is a charitable organization established in Hong Kong in 1979 by Sir John Keswick and his daughter Maggie Keswick Jencks. Sir John, Chairman of Jardine Matheson Ltd from 1952 to 1956, set up the Foundation in order to support those in need in Hong Kong and Mainland China. Maggie continued her father’s commitment to improving the welfare situation and was the driving force behind the expanding work of the Foundation. Maggie died of cancer in 1995. Today, the Foundation thrives and continues to be operated by a team of dedicated volunteers and professionals.
